To find out whether your bike is compatible with the Reelight NOVA bike light, you should make what we call an alu test. To make the test do the following:
Find a magnet. Any magnet you can find will be fine.
Place your magnet between two spokes on the part of the rim turning in towards the middle of the wheel. Not on the side.
If the magnet falls down your rim is made of aluminium, if it sits your rim is made of steel and will not be able to generate power to NOVA bike light.
NB: It is very important that you do not test this on one of the sides of the rim, since the spoke rivets often are made from steel - this does not affect the performance of the dynamo.
